The Perfect Honeymoon for Nature Lovers

When you get married, the tradition is typically that you’ll take a honeymoon somewhere you’ll both enjoy for some romantic relaxation away from your everyday lives. As such, many people head to Hawaii. Sometimes couples will go on a cruise. Others may even head overseas. But if you and your special someone are a nature lover, you shouldn’t feel the need to follow these paths. Consider, instead, taking a trip with your kayak. San Juan Island is a great place to go to if this sounds like a plan.

If you head to San Juan Island, you’ll have a number of great benefits. One, you can save money. Compared to typical honeymoons, an outdoor adventure is a great way to save money while still enjoying one on one time with your new husband or wife.

But that doesn’t mean you’ll be missing out on any fun. Every year, hundreds or even thousands of people travel to San Juan so they can go kayaking with killer whales. You read that right. Imagine coming home with honeymoon photos involving killer whales—some of the most majestic creatures in the entire world—in the background while you’re kayaking close by.

Don’t follow the pack when it comes to planning your honeymoon, especially when you have so many great options available to you. Take a trip to San Juan and you won’t regret it.

Crystal Seas offers Washington kayak adventures that take you out into the wilderness and get you right up close and personal with killer whales, amongst other things.
