HR&G reported trout to 29 inches on soft plastics worked over shell. Catfish are good on stinkbaits and chicken livers in the river channel.Matagorda Guide Tommy Alexander reported limits of trout and scattered redfish on Norton Sand Shad while wading over sand and grass.

Outdoors report Galveston Waders on the south shoreline found the best water with stiff winds. Water temps rose to near 60 degrees with the warm-up. Matagorda Guide Tommy Alexander reported limits of trout while wading with Bass Assassins. Winds gusted to near 30 knots. Palacios Guide Ray Sexton reported good catches of redfish on gold spoons.
