Waders have found best catches in the afternoon on the incoming tide on flats adjacent to deep channels. More green-winged teal have shown with the recent front; however, with more water on the prairies and marshes, ducks have dispersed. The Light Goose Conservation Order starts Monday, and prospects look good.

Trout have been scattered, but best catches have come on the incoming tide adjacent to deep channels and ICW. Crappie action has picked up on area lakes. Cold water temps have bass holding deep and best on large black worms Ducks like it, but not hunters, as every low-lying field is a potential pond for puddle ducks like pintails and teal.
