West, southwest winds gusted to near 20 knots and made for tough fishing. Back lakes held the most protected water from west, southwest winds. Flooded grass in the coves and creeks have been holding fish on lizards and Senkos.

Inshore Brisk northeast winds and temps in the 40s kept most anglers off the water. Tides are below normal, but not at winter lows with the easterly factor. Redfish have been stacked in channels on the falling tide. Freshwater Colder temps have helped crappie anglers on Toledo Bend, Livingston and Sam Rayburn.
