Oversized black drum are making a run in the channel. Cracked blue crabs have been the bait of choice. Guide Harold Dworaczyk of Bay Flats Lodge reported limits of trout to 24 inches while drifting over deep shell with live shrimp.

Guide Tommy Alexander reported limits of trout in deep holes and guts. Guide Harold Dworaczyk of Bay Flats Lodge reported limits of Decoying redheads and pintails.
