Outdoors report: Apr. 12

Guide Harold Dworaczyk of Bay Flats Lodge reported limits of trout to 21 inches while drifting with live shrimp in 4-6 feet of water. Guide Simon Cosper reported good numbers of blue cats in 2-5 feet of water on shad fished on the bottom along main lake points. White bass have been found schooling under birds and good on topwaters and spinnerbaits.

Outdoors report: March 27

What had been a decent bite on the south shoreline turned sour, but sunshine is in the forecast for today through next week. Tides had begun to swell before the front, but north winds knocked levels back down for a day. Guide Harold Dworaczyk of Bay Flats Lodge said the trout bite has picked up while wading shell.
