Guide James Plaag of Silver King Adventures reported trout to 7.8 pounds on Slammin' Chicken Bass Assassins and pearl Corkies. Guide Michael Rolf reported steady catches of trout and scattered redfish while drifting with live shrimp. White bass action has been good, though recent rains have muddied rivers and creeks and stalled action a bit.

Water temps are running in the mid-50s, and waders have enjoyed the best results on slow-sinking Fat Boys, Soft-Dines and Catch 5s. White bass action continues to dominate best catches on area lakes and rivers. Recent rains have helped matters by stirring the flow of water and triggering spawning females.
