New website touts ‘Virginia Outdoors’

The state has a new outdoors website promoting state parks, hiking trails and recreation activities. Virginia Outdoors, also includes video tours of trails of state park trails along with audio podcasts, maps, lists of amenities and other information useful in planning trips and outings, a news release from the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation.

Beltzville State Park will hold its annual Get Outdoors PA Demo Day, Saturday, June 19, with the assistance of staff from Northeast PA Kayak School. They will offer a skill-building and safety course for kayakers of all levels and a second course specifically for experienced paddlers.
